We started the journey for our new album during late summer of 2021, when i started recording the demos which would eventually become Doom Scrolling.

It had been a long year already, with war abroad, civil unrest at home, and the threat of COVID omnipresent. Through writing these songs, I was processing coming to terms with our ever-changing reality and trying to find the hope that lies underneath our hardships and pain.

I began sending the demos to Brian to add some more parts, and in April of 2022, he and his fluffy dog Fuji drove up to Syracuse to finish the album. It was a great time reconnecting with an old friend and writing partner, as we haven’t been able to sit together and play because of the distance between us and the pandemic.

After sending it off to Sebastian at mixedbyredshape and then conordalton_mastering, we had an album that we were both proud of and excited to share with the world.
Our album and band photos were then shot by my extremely patient and talented wife Notes!

Thank you to everyone who supported and inspired us in making this album. Hopefully, we are able to bring you as much joy as we had making it for you!
